Arthur's horse is coming along nicely. I managed to fill the gaps even better once I had primed the horse. With the primer I could easily see where I needed to add a little more filler and a bit more sanding, so after priming and then filling and sanding again. i was pretty happy with the result. To make sure the gaps were properly filled and sanded, I primed it once more and the joins were completely hidden.
As seen here, the primer looks amazing and the joins are not fully complete. The details on the horse are amazing, for detail, here is a shot of the head as well.
It is now ready to receive paint!
I have added two coats of base coat so far and those photos will come shortly but already I am very pleased with the results.
Today, I worked on my Mustang while on stream. I gave the metal parts a base coat of basic black, ready to receive the metallic coats but spent most of my time working on the interior.
The interior cabin was bas coated and masked, I also painted the seats and various other parts ready to be attached. The dashboard took most of the attention of the 3 hour stream, with applying the decals, paint and detailing of the chrome and wooden steering wheel.
I was super pleased with the results and, again, that chrome paint really shines and looks just amazing. Here are some pictures that are better than the stream webcam.
Keep an eye out for future streams and blog posts as, so far, this one is coming together nicely.
